No, you simply need to upload your files over the top of your existing ones. The database will only have columns added to it. Your current lists, email campaigns, users and everything else will remain unaffected.

If you have hesitations about this then you can always back up your database via phpMyAdmin before attempting the upgrade.<br/><br/>

I would like to have it located under a different domain name then where I currently have it installed?

Can this change be made automatically or do I have to file a support ticket to have Interspire change the domain?

Thanks,<br/><br/>

Yes this is more then possible. Simply put in a request with the Licensing department through your client area. You are entitled to one license key change per product installation.

You will then need to update the &#039;admin/includes/config.php&#039; file with your new application path, license key and database details (if they are new).

I hope this helps. If you have any issues with it please don&#039;t hesitate to open a support ticket and we can help you out.<br/><br/>

Any idea what would cause some charts in AutoResponder Statistics to show while others don&#039;t show at all? Its almost as if the ones with data to show (not null or zero), don&#039;t display.

Thanks,

I&#039;m not talking about creating data bases and such, I&#039;m talking about getting my old lists and campaigns to be read by emailmarketer.

Now, I have: SS currently using, and EM on the same server, different sub folders different mysql databases. Can I replace a config file or drag and drop specific folders within SS co I can use my current database, campaigns, responders, subscriptions etc. or do I have to take the route already traveled, do a full install with a different database and slowly migrate all my data?<br/><br/>

The process of upgrading to Email Marketer from SendStudio NX is quite simple.

- download the new version from the clientarea (http://www.interspire.com/clientarea)
- backup all of your existing files
- upload the new files from the zipfile
- restore the admin/includes/config.php
- restore any files you have modified for rebranding purposes

It is also good practice to back up your database as there are some minor database changes, and whilst the chances of issues arising are slim as we have tested this extensively, it is always better to be safe then sorry.

If you have any issues with upgrading please don&#039;t hesitate to open a support ticket and let us know what is going on.<br/><br/>
